Big Garden Birdwatch 2008

PheasantThis year we took part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2008 organised by the RSPB during the weekend of 26/27 January 2008.

This event is the world's largest bird survey. It involves thousands of people spending one hour watching the birds in their own gardens or local parks during one particular weekend. It is necessary to make a note of the birds seen during this period and and inform the RSPB about the highest number of each species seen at any one time during the hour (to avoid counting the same birds twice.)
