Wood Anemone |

Wood Anemone, sometimes called Windflower, is a pretty
flower which usually grows in deciduous woodland.
The flower is star-shaped (about 2 cm diameter) with six white
petals. The leaves are dark green with three lobes.
Wood Anemone is poisonous but used to be used in herbal
medicine for headaches and gout. |
