Coal Tit |
|
|
The coal tit is not quite as colourful as other tits such as
the great tit and the
blue tit. It has a white stripe on
the back of its neck which makes it quite easy to identify.
Both sexes look similar with a black head, grey back and buff
underparts.
This is the smallest of the tit family in Britain.
